The newest Sims 4 DLC expansion pack has been announced, and it’s for the foodies. Your Sims will be able to dine out and the pack will be centered around culinary appreciation. The teaser for The Sims 4: Dine Out and details about the upcoming DLC have been shared on social media. Let’s get into what you can expect!
Restaurants: You’ll be able to create your own restaurant venues, choosing the theme you like, or selecting from a pre-made list. Cuisines will include diner food, Italian, sushi, pho and more. You can also personalize your restaurant with the included decor, signage, and seating.
Dining Out: Your Sims no longer have to subsist on grilled cheese and other boring food at their homes, because they can now dine out. They’ll be able to enjoy being waited on, eating delicous food, and catching up with friends and family. They can also go out on a romantic Dine Out date. The interactions they have with waiters and other restaurant staff may prove for some entertainment, as every Sim has a personality of their own! Sims can also order their own food as well, and pay for it too, while children are able to color at the table just like in a real restaurant.
Experimental Cuisine: If your Sims are feeling adventorous, they can experiment with some new cuisine, and then if they like, be a total Instagramer, or that is, Simstagramer. Yes, your Sims can shoot photos of the dishes they try and later make these masterpieces decoration – meaning framed photos hanging in their home.
NPC: There’s a new NPC character in the Sims 4: Dine Out, and it’s a food critic. He’ll have an influence on how popular your restaurant is, so be sure you treat him right!
Events: If dining out with friends, your Sims can have a toast like in the previous Sims games. If feeling romantic and on a date, have your Sim feed their date a bite. Birthdays can also be celebrated while eating out.
Outfits and Objects: Sims 4: Dine Out comes with plenty of new DLC, with a new selection of food-related clothing, i.e uniforms, plus new objects. You’ll receive new glasses, outside heaters, and more, even still water and sparkling water. Of course, with the new restaurants will come new kitchen appliances, plus decorations like fancy white tablecloths, aquariums, and wait podiums.
The game doesn’t need the Sims 4: Get to Work expansion pack either if you want to own a restaurant, so rest assured! However, you can’t work as a chef – not just yet, anyhow.
You may recognize some of the uniform styles in Sims 4: Dine Out, because they look like those of franchise chains like TGIFridays and Applebees, complete with “flair.”
