Fallout 4 is easily one of the most popular video game titles out there, and we’re always keeping an eye what’s new with the popular game franchise. Today we’ve got an update on the Survival Beta Bethesda recently released on March 29, and the changes that were implemented based on player feedback. It looks like Survival is going to be a bit more enjoyable.
First, survival is a bit easier, at least in terms of food, water and sleep. The amount needed has been lowered significantly, with the sleep cycle lowered from 24 hours to 14 hours. The supply fix ca now be properly assigned. Now there’s also a few more things that change about your survival. For once, you have an increased chance of getting a disease. However, you’re able to see your thirst, hunger, sleep and disease icons in color which changes according to your status.
The carry capacity has been lowered and fusion cores weigh more. The issue of becoming parched or peckish when your thirst or hunger are fine has also been addressed. Finally, when a companion is down, a quest target appears on them.

We’ve also got new details about the new Fallout 4 DLC pack arriving soon. Bethesda has announced that the Wasteland Workshop will arrive on April 12 for XBox, PC and PS4.
If you have the Season Pass, Wasteland Workship is included. For players who opted not to purchase the pass, the Fallout 4 DLC update will be $4.99.
Bethesda unveiled a trailer for the new DLC, but they’ve yet to actually spill the details on what’s to come…until now, with a new trailer. The trailer reveals plenty though, with glimpses of more customization features, the ability to capture creatures and challenge other settlers with them, and more. It’s definitely more on the crafting side of DLC, but does have some unique quirks and features!
